Section 28

Section 28 was a piece of legislation which stopped public officials ‘promoting’ same sex relationships as normal. Teachers were particularly affected, and many felt angry that they were prohibited from telling young people that they could live happy fulfilling lives.

In protest, some LGBTQ+ activists used teddy bears wearing queer slogans to remind the world that young queer people deserve equal access to hope, family and love. The law was repealed in England and Wales in 2003.

Omi's and polones, and the folks in between. We've had lots of help from those outside the scene. Let's applaud one polone, who lattied our friends And was caught for her friendship by lilly-law in the end.  To advance past this point to the next round of our game Put together your hands and you'll find out her name.
